Its an example of a bad game that had some good ideas.
This game reminds me of Redneck Rampage on PC minus the fun and humor. It causes loading errors with the FMV characters reappearing every time you walk to the area again only seconds later. Also I think having the FMV in the game was an interesting concept but was executed very poorly. The beginning of the game has you trying to find your way out of a maze while battling ducks, yes ducks! This will surely induce the worst of headaches from the poor controls causing the screen to spin everywhere. While it didnt blow contemporary critics away at the time, its gained something of a cult status and is seen by some as a precursor to RPG-style shooters. Even walking with no action on screen causes slowdown for no apparent reason. It fails miserably.įirst off the frame rate is terrible. This game tries to be another memorable first person shooter in a sea of Doom clones.
Killing Time is a FPS that was released in 1995 for the 3DO console, then was later ported to PC and Mac in 1996.
